Ma’s essay was published in January 2014. Ma considers the role of the arts in the world, arguing that the elements of empathy provided by artistic endeavors are essential to the kind of balanced thinking needed today. Yo-yo Ma is a world-renowned cellist and songwriter. His works and essays were featured in high profile contributors with big names like Elon Musk. Ma discusses STEAM and how to promote equilibrium in a global culture. My purpose for reading this is to finish this blog post so I can get back to this research paper for oceanography. so I suppose the circumstances surrounding my reading are dyer, I guess you could say I was in a rush that’s how college can go sometimes feel as though we have already read quite a few essays on art and beauty so the topic is becoming somewhat redundant but I digress. And now my laptops ram is gone to crap so I am unable to go back and edit my previous sentences. the intentional context is the discussion of steam, art, education and how to bring us closer as a society, in order to find necessary edges. one term I was confused on was bandwidth, I did not think he was using this correctly, but outside of the tech term for my download speed bandwidth also means the energy or mental capacity required to deal with a situation. globalization the process by which businesses or other organizations develop international influence or start operating on an international scale and north African Berbers n ethnic group indigenous to North Africa, primarily inhabiting Algeria, northern Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, northern Niger, Tunisia, Libya and a part of western Egypt.
